The Fuzz Factory 7 features a 9-position rotary sub switch that opens the pedal up to an astounding new bottom end as well as thin, reedy fuzzes. This means the pedal can oscillate at much lower registers as well has higher ones. The fuzz works equally well with both guitar and bass signals. Thereﾒs also a second stomp switch and an associated tone control. This passive tone control operates much the way the one on your guitar does, and when the stomp switch is activated it will let you roll off the high end of the fuzz sound so you can mellow out the tone if you like.

The controls of the Fuzz Factory 7 are arranged in a circle around a Lexan window that reveals two rare 1956 Amperex black glass transistors. These rare and magnificent-sounding transistors are illuminated by LEDs when the pedal is engaged.

CONTROLS:
SUBS SWITCH: The Fuzz Factory 7 has two new knobs (when compared to the original Fuzz Factory.) One of these, located at the 5 oﾒclock position, is a 9-position rotary switch that controls the internal tone of the fuzz, getting fatter and subbier to the left and thinner and reedier to the right. This switch will obviously change the oscillation range of the pedal as well, when the other knobs are set to an oscillating or squealing tone. Around the middle youﾒll find the original Fuzz Factory setting.

KNOBS: Although the six main control knobs are named for the parameters over which they seem to have the most control, please donﾒt hold us to it. Turn to right to eliminate squeals, hiss and buzz, stopping just as they disap- pear, or use to tune in exact feedback pitch, if youﾒre that kind. Turning to left opens gate.

COMP: Adds attack characteristic when turned to left, which gets softer to right, and suddenly pinches tone when all the way right. Unplug the input jack when not in use to preserve battery life.

POWER SUPPLY:
All Z.Vex pedals use a 9V DC power supply with (ﾖ) polarity on the middle pin (typical BossTM power supply). It is available in Vexter (2-year warranty) and hand-painted (lifetime warranty-my lifetime) versions. Its gain and tonal characteristics are somewhat similar to high-gain tube amplifiers that have been the staple of hard rock and metal sounds since the 80's. On the right, there is a true- bypass switch with an indicator LED to bypass the entire effect. On the left is a gate switch which is only effective when the pedal is on (the gate cannot be used separately.) When the gate's LED (on the left side of the pedal) is ON, the gate will be active whenever the pedal is turned on. The gate is very useful for cleaning up any noise between palm-muted chords and lead phrases, but may be switched off to initiate feedback or to stretch out soloed notes that are fading into noise. Switching off and on the gate is silent so the gating action of the pedal can instantly be changed during any part of the performance to fluidly integrate soloing and palm-muted chords.

The Controls:
Gate: Adjust for your playing style. When fully clockwise, palm-muting will create an audible thump and bumping the strings will open the gate. Turn down to make the gate tighter. Gate is unaffected by other controls. Drive: Sets the amount of distortion. The BOM does NOT clean up. This control goes from hard to very hard. It may crackle when turned... this is perfectly normal. Treble: Adjust for treble content. Use this in tandem with your amp's presence and treble controls to get the precise top-end texture... the presence control is very important on your amp, if you have one. Midrange: Adjust to accentuate or scoop out mids. Bass: Sets the bass/sub-bass level. Volume: Sets the output volume of the pedal. Note that the LED on the RIGHT is for the BYPASS switch and the LED on the LEFT is for the GATE. The Drive and control is based on my original Super Hard-On gain control, so it may crackle when turned. This is perfectly normal.

Operation:
Plug your guitar (or any effect's output) into the right hand input jack. Plug the output into an amp or other effect's input. Enjoy in moderation. Watch the output volume setting... with the gate turned on, you may not notice just how loud the pedal is going to be until you play! Set the clean sound on your amp for any level of pristine cleanliness to heavy crunch. The BOM should do very well driving any amount of nominal distortion. The presence control on your amp will have a strong influence on the top-end texture of your BOM.
New old stock (N.O.S.) A brand new bit crushing algorithm adds the warmth and grit of classic samplers, while reducing your signal from 24 bits down to 1 bit. An integrated noise gate is tuned to provide maximum sustain without sputtering on staccato notes. Fractional bit reduction provides smooth changes and a broader range of sounds. Input and output gain controls work with all input signals and give you saturated distortion or dying battery fuzz sounds.

Sample rate reduction creates inharmonic overtones and aliasing distortion. Subtle reduction adds sizzle to drums and high-end buzz to guitars. Use extreme settings for 8-bit video game sounds. Tune to the root or 5th to twist scales into inharmonic melodies. Featuring locally screen-printed enclosures, each pedal is built with optimal components meticulously selected from all corners of the globe.

SLOIKA is a unique distortion pedal utilizing multiple bands of distortion to simulate multiple amplifiers set at different gain levels. Capable of very heavy distortion, the SLOIKA (like all Wolftone pedals) is extremely musical and very responsive to a playerﾒs dynamics.

SLOIKA is designed to create a transparent distortion allowing you to retain the sound of your guitar and amp. This pedal will not mask your equipmentﾒs tone. Single or humbucking pickups are still clearly heard and articulated and you can easily modulate between light or heavy distortion using picking dynamics. Very sensitive to input levels, SLOIKA allows you to control the amount of distortion from your guitar. Want a clean sound? Just back off the guitarﾒs volume. Searing distortion is just a matter of playing harder or cranking the guitar volume. And SLOIKA enables a seamless transition from distortion into clean when you play a full chord and let it sustain.

The SLOIKA is a combination of 8 parallel distortion bands. The interaction between the DRIVE and SATURATE settings determines how these bands effect your sound. To really hear the strengths of this pedal, use a loud, clean amp.

The DRIVE amount determines how hot the 8 bands are, and your volume and dynamics control the distortion.

When the DRIVE is at a low setting, the first band is at 100% gain, and the subsequent bands have progressively less gain, allowing maximum reactive distortion through dynamics. At a mid DRIVE setting, the first band is at 100% gain, and the remaining 7 bands have decreasing gain stages down to about 90% for the lowest band.

At max DRIVE setting, all bands are at 100% gain, giving you a hard wall of distortion. When SATURATE is set low, the lowest bands will drop out of distortion earlier, allowing the guitar to become clean quicker.

With SATURATE at a higher setting, the distortion is clear and biting. Turning SATURATE all the way up creates a softer attack with a full-on distortion feel, and a much longer distortion sustain.

Super creamy and monstrous low end is SLOIKA on bass guitar!

Another innovative WOLFTONE pedal from the mind of Todd Wolfgram!
A multi-frequency booster with a 12 position frequency selector and a gain function. The Merkin is also very responsive to your guitar's volume and tone controls so you can spend less time stooped over your pedalboard, and more time actually playing. Along with a slew of sixties fuzz sounds from the Ventures to the Stooges and many points in between, The Merkin Fuzz is able to do octave-up sounds by using your guitar's neck pickup with the tone rolled off. It works great for bass too.

The life-blood of a fuzz is its power supply and the Merkin is no different. Use a carbon battery for warm vintage tone and smooth response. If you're able to understand that, you must be pretty familiar with Zvex products! Basically, the Tremorama has all of the functions of the Seek-Trem plus it has an extra foot switch on the left that allows you to select random mode, which sounds a little bit like a bad guitar cord that is cutting in and out in time with the tremolo speed. Otherwise the Tremorama is an eight-stage sequencer-controlled tremolo pedal. The controls are, from left to right, 4/8/6 step selector switch, speed (tempo), and 8 sequencer volume controls. All of the controls work in the opposite direction from conventional because the pots are smoother this way. This means you have to turn them to the left to make them louder, or in the case of the speed control, to make it faster. There is also a true-bypass stomp switch which causes the sequencer to ﾓhaltﾔ and wait at step number 1 until the pedal is turned back on.

OPERATION:
Plug your guitar (or any effectﾒs output) into the right hand input jack. Plug the output into an amp or other effectﾒs input. If the LEDs are not blinking, the pedal is bypassed. When bypassed, it sits and waits at sequencer step number 1 until you turn it on... then it starts in time at the present tempo and steps through each volume setting in series. In this way you can set up a sequence of different guitar volumes that create a rhythmic pattern which matches your performance or a series of volumes that sound like a swell or even echoes. For example, to create an echo-like setting, turn on the Tremorama and set the 'spd' knob to a reasonable tempo and turn all of the sequencer knobs fully clockwise except for the first one. For hard tremolo, leave step 2 off, then set step 3 so itﾒs noticeably quieter than step 1. Next, leave step 4 off, and turn step 5 until itﾒs noticeably quieter than step 3. Step 6 stays off, step 7 is set to be quieter than step 5, and step 8 is also off. Now, when you turn it on, you get a series of tremolo pulses where each is quieter than the last and you hear a simulated ﾓechoﾔ as your guitar seems to get further away with each pulse.

Another fun way to use this trem is to set up patterns that accentuate different parts of an arpeggiated performance. You can predictably cause the pattern to start exactly where you want it in the performance by stomping on the switch at the right moment, because the unit starts in time and always starts at the beginning of the sequence.

For very choppy sounds, turn up only step number 1 and turn all others off. If the 'spd' control doesn't go fast enough, switching the pattern switch to '4' will double the rate. For patterns that play over a 3/4 time signature, you might set the switch to '6'. The switch lets you limit the total number of steps to 4, 6, or 8. This way you can make faster and/or shorter patterns.

For a kind of 'volume swell' effect, set the sequencer controls so that the first one just barely lets any sound through, and each successive one gets louder until the last one goes full volume.
This effect is a natural continuation of the probe series... the fuzz factory probe, the volume control/manual tremolo probe, and now a wah. It's probably exactly what you think it is: a theremin-style antenna controlling a wah, getting brighter as your foot approaches. It has one extra feature, however. There's a Super Hard-On boost circuit in front of the wah, with a knob to set the exact level of boost for driving your wah sound. It can be turned up high enough to make the wah crack up a little for that "something's gonna blow" sound. It gets pretty darn loud!

The probe circuit generates a small (one or two inches high) "bubble" of RF energy at about a million cycles per second above the copper plate. As your foot or hand (or any wet or metallic object, for that matter) approaches the copper plate, the RF field is disturbed and the circuit reacts by increasing the brightness of an LED, which drives a photoresistive cell and controls the Z. Vex wah circuit. The wah circuit is actually the Seek-Wah sound circuit without the sequencer control. It's also the same wah circuit as the one in The Drip guitar that I make. The only difference is the boost circuit in this Wah Probe model.

Adjustments: The simplest one of these is the volume level of the "drive" knob... just set it so that when you kick on the wah it's doing its stuff at the right intensity. It goes from slightly lower than the normal guitar volume to completely bonkers when turned up all the way. I personally don't think it's necessary to turn it up all the way, in fact, it seems to pretty much obliterate the wah sound, but, to each his own. Abuse those transistors, please!

The next adjustment is the RF field screwdriver adjustment on the bottom of the pedal. If you turn it in the direction of the arrow (usually to the left for that one) it will make the probe circuit more sensitive and set the "bottom" setting of the wah higher and higher. It's best to hold the pedal completely upside down so that the cords are dangling away from the antenna, with your hand and arm completely away from the antenna, and strum your guitar's open strings (you probably have to have it on a stand or strapped on) thru the Wah Probe. Gently adjust the RF pot with a tiny screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until you hear the wah get to the level you'd like it to be when you are not putting your foot near it. There's a region where the sound of the guitar is kind of "muffled" and the wah kicks in after your foot gets near the pedal, which is how i ship the unit. If you like the wah to be partway cocked into the lower wah region just park the adjustment right where you like it. As you get closer to the unit, it will wah higher.
OVERVIEW:

This product is a far more advanced version of our original Seek Trem and Tremorama pedals. Also, in this SUPER-DUPER 2-IN-1 is a Master volume control that lets you use it as an overdrive/distortion with any output volume.

CHANNEL 1: This channel is a conventional Super Hard-On (TM), which I will henceforth refer to as the SHO, in order to reduce potential offense to young ears and sensitive persons. Its gain control is on the far right, and it's LED is yellow. If you are familiar with the SHO, you'll know that it's a very sparkly sounding high input-impedance preamp with incredible headroom, wide-ranging gain (unity to 60 X), and a maximum volume that will knock out your fillings. Channel one has no Master Volume control, but it's cascaded into Channel 2, which does...

CHANNEL 2 AND THE MASTER VOLUME: This channel has the very same circuit as Channel 1, but the bleeder resistor on the output has been replaced with a Master Volume control, which allows the user to turn down the output volume even if the gain is set quite high. The knob on the left is the gain, and the middle knob is the Master Volume, and the LED is red. When both channels are on, or if only Channel 2 is on, the Master Volume is active. If you leave the Master wide open, you have two identical SHO pedals in one box, which are cascaded.

WHAT DOES THIS PEDAL SOUND LIKE? You might wonder just how insane this pedal sounds when you crank up both channels and turn them both on. Well, I'll tell you. I can't get my Les Paul to stop feeding back at any audible volume level on my Marshall when both channels are wide open, and that's with the amp set at 1. I'm happy about that. Of course, this is not the only setting on the pedal. I don't think there's a musician around who wouldn't be happy to have multiple clean boost pedals set to predictable levels available on stage. This pedal gives you a total of four volume levels, ranging, at your choice, anywhere from perfectly clean to ragingly overdriven. Level 1, your guitar is true-bypassed with both channels off. Level 2, you turn on Channel 1. Level 3, you turn off Channel 1 and turn on Channel 2. This is easy because you can put your foot on both switches at once and alternate between the two channels if you want. Level 4, you turn on both channels.

COMMENTS ON THE GAIN CONTROLS: I've taken a lot of flack for the SHO "crackle okay" knob's noise, which people mistakenly interpret in many different ways. I've seen reviews where the user believes that the pot is "cheap" or that it's "old," or "bad." This is not the case. The SHO uses a revolutionary approach to controlling the gain that resets the headroom, gain, and bias of the transistor at the same time, effectively re-designing the circuit for the optimum settings at each volume level. When the knob is not being turned, the unit makes no crackling sounds. It's not a simple volume control. If it were, the SHO wouldn't be so special. The SUPER-DUPER 2-IN-1 (TM) has this same kind of control for each channel. ZVex SUPER-DUPER 2-IN-1 Set Up:

First off, with your amp on standby, plug in the guitar to the input jack (it has a guitar next to it), activating the battery, and the amp to the output jack (it has a speaker). Set the levels on both gain knobs (outside knobs) anywhere up to 3:00, and the Master anywhere you want. Step on the switches several times to equalize the voltages on the input capacitors and eliminate popping noises during switching. Turn your amp volume to a low level to start, and try listening to the two different channels individually and together, adjusting them slowly until you get to the levels you want. Set the Master Volume so that your final output level with both channels active is low enough not to blow up your amp. Remember that Channel 1 works best as the loud clean boost, and has no Master Volume when used alone. Channel 2 can actually distort by itself at any volume level using the Master to limit it's output level. When you turn the gain knobs, it's ok if you hear a rushing/crackling noise. That indicates that the gain and bias of the transistor are being reset. This noise gets more intense toward the right on each of those knobs, but does not in any way indicate anything is wrong with your unit.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0902/2828/products/ZVEX_20Super_20duper_20Vexter_20Series_202_20in_201.jpeg?v=1445379323
super-hard-on-vexter-series
Zvex Super Hard On Vexter, brand new, old stock (NOS)

Zvex Super Hard On Vexter, brand new old stock!

The Vexter Super Hard On is identical in construction to the newest hand-painted Super Hard On, including a DC power jack and on/off LED indicator.

This is the perfect preamp pedal. The "Crackle Okay" volume knob is a negative-feedback control styled after classic 60's recording console inputs. (They crackled when adjusted too.) Most vintage guitars suffer from steadily deteriorating magnets in their pickups, since permanent magnets aren't really forever. The Super Hard-On's input impedance is so high (>5 Meg) that it refuses any current flow from your pickup... maintaining the most magnetic field around each string, so you can hear exactly what your pickup sounded like the day it came off the winder. The ouput level can exceed 8 volts peak, and when it finally distorts, the wave is shaped like triode overload, not fuzz.

It's so transparent no one will be able to tell you're using a pedal. Perfect for making the most of a classic amp and guitar, because it simply makes your guitar bigger and pushes the amp harder, causing natural overload. This sound can be the solution to the 'disappearing guitar' effect you get sometimes on stage when you stomp on your distortion and sound weaker. When cranked, it sounds much louder than a fuzz or distortion under stage conditions.

Like all Z. Vex designs, current flow is low in this circuit (less than 2mA), enhancing battery life. The circuit board is hand-cut and soldered with the critical component, a BS-170 mosfet transistor, placed in a socket for easy user replacement should it be necessary. Your dealer can provide you with a free replacement transistor upon request.

The box is hand-drilled using no petro lubricants, and hand painted so that every box is unique. There is also a true-bypass stomp switch which causes the sequencer to ﾓhaltﾔ and wait at step number 1 until the pedal is turned back on.

Operation
Plug your guitar (or any effectﾒs output) into the right hand input jack. Plug the output into an amp or other effectﾒs input. If the leds are not blinking, the pedal is bypassed. When bypassed, it sits and waits at sequencer step number 1 until you turn it on... then it starts in time at the present tempo and steps through each volume setting in series. In this way you can set up a sequence of different guitar volumes that create a rhythmic pattern which matches your performance or a series of volumes that sound like a swell or even echos. For example, to create an echo-like setting, turn on the Seek-Trem and set the ﾓspdﾔ knob to a reasonable tempo and turn all of the sequencer knobs fully clockwise except for the first one. for hard tremolo, leave step 2 off, then set step 3 so itﾒs noticably quieter than step 1. Next, leave step 4 off, and turn step 5 until itﾒs noticably quieter than step 3.
The ZVex Seek Wah II is a true anomaly in the world of guitar pedals. Itﾒs probably exactly what you think it is: a theremin-style antenna controlling a wah, getting brighter as your foot approaches. It has three extra features, however. Thereﾒs a Super Hard-Onﾙ boost circuit in front of the wah, with a knob to set the exact level of boost for driving your wah sound. It can be turned up high enough to make the wah crack up a little for that ﾓsomethingﾒs gonna blowﾔ sound. It gets pretty darn loud! There is also a ﾓMixﾔ knob for dialing in the desired wet/dry mix of the effect, and a ﾓRangeﾔ knob for controlling/limiting the ultra-bright upper range of this circuit.

HOW IT WORKS
The probe circuit generates a small (one or two inches high) ﾓbubbleﾔ of RF energy at about a million cycles per second above the antenna plate. As your foot or hand (or any wet or metallic object, for that matter) approaches the copper plate, the RF field is disturbed and the circuit reacts by increasing the brightness of an LED, which drives a photoresistive cell and controls the Z. Vex wah circuit. The wah circuit is actually the Seek-Wahﾙ sound circuit without the sequencer control. The only difference is the boost circuit in this Wah Probeﾙ model.

THE CONTROLS
Range:
Determines how bright the wah can get. Turn this all the way clockwise for maximum brightness (this is the setting in the original Wah Probeﾙ). Turning this knob counter-clockwise makes the range of the wah akin to more traditional, vocal ranges.

Volume:
This is the volume level of the ﾓdriveﾔ knob... just set it so that when you kick on the wah itﾒs doing its stuff at the right intensity. It goes from slightly lower than the normal guitar volume to completely bonkers when turned up all the way. I personally donﾒt think itﾒs necessary to turn it up all the way, in fact, it seems to pretty much obliterate the wah sound, but, to each his own. Abuse those transistors, please!

Mix:
Controls the wet/dry mix of the effect. Turn all the way clockwise for pure wah, or all the way counter-clockwise for just the unaffected signal. Everything in between is a mixture of the two signals. This is great for stacking with fuzz or distortion. Bass players will also like this.

There is also a trimmer on the bottom of the pedal that controls the RF field. If you turn it in the direction of the arrow (to the left) it will make the probe circuit more sensitive and set the ﾓbottomﾔ setting of the wah higher and higher. Itﾒs best to hold the pedal completely upside down so that the cords are dangling away from the antenna, with your hand and arm completely away from the antenna, and strum your guitarﾒs open strings (you probably have to have it on a stand or strapped on) thru the Wah Probeﾙ. Gently adjust the RF pot with a tiny screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until you hear the wah get to the level youﾒd like it to be when you are not putting your foot near it. Thereﾒs a region where the sound of the guitar is kind of ﾓmuffledﾔ and the wah kicks in after your foot gets near the pedal, which is how I ship the unit. If you like the wah to be partway cocked into the lower wah region just park the adjustment right where you like it. As you get closer to the unit, it will wah higher.

BATTERY CHANGE & POWER SUPPLY
The Wah Probeﾙ can be powered with a 9V battery or any standard filtered/regulated musical 9VDC power supply with a Boss-style connector (negative-tip barrel connector). Naturally, a nice alkaline cell will last quite a bit longer than a carbon-zinc one, but some people are completely sold on the sound of the higher voltage output from a carbon-zinc unit when it is brand new. To change the battery, unscrew the four screws on the underside of the painted box. Carefully lift out the old battery and replace it with a new one exactly as it was installed, with the clip toward the right as you look at the bottom when the plastic footpedal part is aiming toward you and the painted box is further away. This side chain input can even be used as an FX loop for maintaining accurate envelope response when using distortion effects in line before the EP-1.

The Envelope Phaser also features footswitchable phase inversion, expression pedal speed control for mind bending rotary speaker effects and can also be used as a clean analog fat booster and pre amp.

Destined to be the modulation effect of choice for many guitarists and bass players looking for that elusive "liquid tone" the EP-1 is equally at home in the hands of laptop musicians, DJs and recording engineers.

The iMP is a power amp intended for studio use, or with small sound sources such as iPods, mini-disc/cd players and laptops to power passive monitors.

Knobs are Harry Davies, made with the same molds they've used since the fifties. Each effect is hand dated and signed by Zachary Vex.

WARNING: The very high input impedance of this pedal can cause strange reactions (sometimes mildly pleasant and/or arousing) when used with a vintage 'junk' (read 'cool') guitar. The solution is to simply lower the 'crackle okay' gain knob a little or leave the guitar volume wide open. Each Super Hard-On is unique in it's reaction... you may have to try a few till you find one that perfectly matches a really strange guitar. They are optimised for the major brands. Any problems will only occur at the highest gain settings with an unusual guitar.

The Super Hard-ON uses a very sensitive transistor, with some early versions mounted in a socket. During 2000, I installed a protection circuit to prolong the life of these transistors and I've seen no failures since. If you have a problem with an older unit, feel free to contact me, or you may purchase transistors inexpensively from 1-800-DIGIKEY where they are sold as part number BS170P-ND. You must follow proper static handling procedures to install the part... write to me for instructions at and i'll set you up. Newer SHO units have a diode protection circuit to keep the transistor from blowing. Please contact for information about updating your older SHO. To protect your SHO's transistor on older units, please turn the unit off before unplugging the cords. On SHO units produced during 2000 and beyond, the battery switching jack has been moved to the output jack closest to the front of the unit (closest to the J. Myrold signature). Please unplug from this jack to preserve battery life.
A sensitive and touchy bass fuzz with tremendous bottom end and a beautiful harmonic structure that sounds blistering with a guitar, too.

The harmonic structure can be radically altered using the "PINCH" knob. It adjusts the pulse width of the waveform.

In the leftmost position, the waveshape is quite symmetrical which produces a smooth creamy sound. Turning it up slightly introduces lovely intermodulation distortion. Turning it clockwise narrows the waveshape into asymmetrical pulses, making the tone reedier and brassier. This also introduces an unusually smooth 'gating' action, which gives you an absolutely eerie silence between notes.

At most settings you will notice that low frequency pressure is preserved. You may use the Box of Rock effectively with many different amplifiers, but to get the sound I heard when I designed it, try it through a Marshall at least once. You may use your guitar's volume control to adjust for the exact amount of distortion you need, all the way down to very clean and clear with most drive settings. You will notice the words "distortron engine" on the Vexter version of this pedal (no, that's not a misprint) on the pedal. This is what I named my distortion circuit... call me crazy. On the hand-painted version, the stomp switch on the right is labeled "ROCK" instead, because our paint brushes are too wide for so many small letters.

The Box of Rock also contains an extremely high-headroom, unity-to-50X gain booster with nominal input impedance and low hiss. It is very similar to the SHO boost circuit, with refinements to make it sound more like a standard amp input and less glassy. The boost channel can be used alone or in conjunction with the "distortron engine" channel. The boost channel follows the distortion channel so that the distortion is able to hit your amp harder (at a higher volume) when both switches are engaged, for boosting solos and what-not. Look out when boosting what-not. 8^)

The Controls:
Drive: Sets the amount of distortion. Start around 1:00 o'clock.
Tone: Adjust for treble content. Start around 2:00 o'clock.
Vol: Adjust for distortron engine volume level. Start around 9:00 o'clock.
Boost: Sets the boost level, which is engaged with the left stomp switch. Start around 11:00 o'clock.

The Drive and Boost controls are based on my original Super Hard-On gain control, so they may crackle when turned. This is perfectly normal.

Operation:
Plug your guitar (or any effectﾒs output) into the right hand input jack. Plug the output into an amp or other effectﾒs input. Rock out. Careful with the Boost setting when using a high-powered amp with lots of headroom... you may be shocked at how loud it can get!

The best way to complete this pedal is to run it through a Marshall amplifier on a warm clean setting (try strapping the channels, setting the volumes below 3, and setting all other controls to 6 as a start point), which has the proper voicing to reveal the "rock" in the Box of Rock.
