Moogerfooger MF-102 Ring Modulator

  • $ 39900

The Moog MF-102 Moogerfooger Ring Modulator was designed by the legendary Bob Moog. Bob's pedals are high quality synthesizer modules that can be used individually, or patched together for the ultimate in analog control!

The Moogerfooger MF-102 Ring Modulator is capable of generating amazingly strange sounds. You may find yourself looking around to make certain that the sound you are hearing is coming from the instrument that you're playing.

For you tech-heads, the Moogerfooger Ring Modulator multiplies an audio input and a carrier oscillator to produce sum and difference frequencies. It has a wide-range carrier oscillator (2 Hz to 4 kHz in two ranges) and a dual-waveform LFO (0.1 Hz to 25 Hz, sine and square waveforms). The controls include: signal mix, carrier frequency, LFO rate, and LFO amount, all of which may be voltage-controlled as well as panel-knob-controlled. Panel switches select carrier oscillator range and LFO waveform. 1/4" TRS jacks are provided for pedal/control inputs, auxiliary audio input, and LFO and carrier oscillator outputs.

This all sounds complicated enough, but it really is quite simple to get totally bizarre sounds from this modern day classic module. Whether you are a guitar player, keyboardist, or recording engineer, you will be captivated by its otherworldly sound!

  • Classic Moog look, sound & feel
  • Rugged quality construction
  • Super wide-range LFO
  • CV, pedal, or front panel controllable
